Barefoot Mardi Gras is back and will be held on Saturday February 26th, 2022. The annual celebration has helped raise funds for nonprofit charity groups including Island Foundation’s Seashore Charter Schools and Seashore Early Childhood Academy on Padre Island. Seashore Charter Schools need 8 volunteers the day of the event to pair up as parade Marshalls. Essentially, each pair of volunteers will be stationed along the parade route to help with crowd control and direct traffic. Please contact Dr. Christopher Daniels at [email protected] if you can help!
