The SNN News Network is a team of 4th grade newscasters. that do the morning news everyday at 7:45. The students do a 2 week assignment and broadcast from Tarpon North Building and the students say the daily happenings and end with the pledge before they sign off. The teachers have the option to do the pledge during the morning announcements, or to log off and do their own pledge in their rooms and/or building. The News Team announces upcoming SLC events as well as sports results in the various sports leagues around Corpus.
